Fiscal Reps Limited (FiscalReps) was formed by Mike Stalley in 2003. Previously Mike had worked in the insurance industry in both Bermuda and the Lloyds market in London after qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1995.
Mike identified that a gap existed in the market for the provision of outsourced premium tax compliance services and fiscal representation. Specifically insurance companies were having difficulty finding suitable individuals to appoint as fiscal representative in many countries across the European Union (EU) and were struggling to manage all of their premium tax compliance obligations in an efficient and effective manner.
Having spotted this opportunity, Mike established FiscalReps and built a unique business model and infrastructure which allowed insurers, through a single point of contact, to appoint a fiscal representative in all countries required and to provide an outsourced solution to address the complexities of premium tax compliance across the EU.
In the years since incorporation FiscalReps has grown annually in terms of both revenue and client base, developing into market leading specialists in the niche area of premium tax compliance.
